What is a
disruptive stimulus? |
When your animal is misbehaving, he is following a certain
pattern of behaviour. To break the pattern, a disruptive stimulus is
introduced in his surroundings. This disruptive stimulus is a brisk spray of
citronella. Your dog hears it, feels it, sees it but most importantly smells
it. Your dog will very quickly learn that when he misbehaves, a spray of
citronella will quickly follow.

citronella refills contain a gas mixture that is 100% safe for people,

lemony scent. Citronella is an essential oil that is derived from the stem
and leaves of lemon grass and has been used in medicine for a thousand
